My Artwork
The Explanation:
So the physical aspect of my art is that it broken glass shaped into a realistic looking heart, glued together by hot glue, on a canvas painted black.
The canvas with a black background represents the loneliness you feel when going through trauma.
The reasoning behind this is because when people are going through trauma they often feel like they have no outlet, and no one to talk to. It can also shoe the feeling of emptiness you have when experiencing trauma alone.
The broken glass represents the feelings and memories.
The glass is broken because it is representing what those memories were to you and how they affected you.
The hot glue represents you heling. And all the people and growth that helped you put your pieces back together.
